2011 Durban Project

E-Three Labs partnered with the Mazisi Kunene Trust Foundation as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting community awareness of sustainable practices. E-Three Labs worked with local students and community leaders to build a spiral vegetable garden and solar charging station that will help power personal electronics and other portable technology. Durban students and communityThe solar charging station was set up as a community-based entrepreneurial venture that addressed limited access to electricity. As part of this trip, E-Three Labs also participated in the Conference of the Parties (COP17), which focuses on implementing the conventions outlined by the United Nations Framework on Climate Change.
